Michael Halligan

Greetings! Thanks for stopping into my little corner of the web. I'm a, 31-year old entrepreneur finding my way in the world. I've been working in the "tech sector" (whatever that means) ever since I first interned at EDS in my early teens. As an employee I've worked for some notable start-ups including idealab! and Napster. As an entrepreneur I've started a couple of consulting companies, one of which (BitPusher) is a rapidly growing managed services provider who manages web applications for many notable start-ups including Sendgrid, Posterous, and Wufoo. I sold my half of BitPusher in 2009 and I'm currently consulting through DNSWorks as I decide what I want to do next. I'm open to entertaining anything interesting, with a hope that it's interesting enough that I would want to join as a co-founder rather than as an employee.

When I'm not working (and lately I'm not working a lot, because I'm having more fun exercising) I'm exercising. I love to walk and swim, and spend several hours doing both each day. I also read, take photos, play bass, travel, and cook. You know, the usual life experience.

So this fat hacker decides to walk up Twin Peaks.

Last friday I decided to walk to Twin Peaks from my home in SOMA. Afterwards I just decided to walk up every peak, choose a landmark I've never stood foot on, and walk to it. This walk is the 22km result.
