Start-up idea to sharecrop Flickr as an infinite storage engine.

I was just thinking it would be sort of awesome to use Flickr as a versioning system for photo editing systems. Maybe somebody could write a storage back-end that integrates with Photoshop, Aperture, and Lightroom so that every revision of a photo being edited could be saved in Flickr. This way you would have easy access to trace through the steps of editing, and you would .. OK so it would mostly be a way to break flickr's unlimited storage for $25/year model, not really a start-up. It would be fun, though, and hyjinx would ensue!

The Day Twitter Jumped The Shark

Because when all else fails, become a photo sharing site. It's worked so well for social networks without business models in the past.  To be fair, however, Twitter jumped the shark when they built a DJ booth in their office (Sorry Jon).  Today's new features must feel like a kick in the teeth to developers who centered their "business models" on sharecropping twitter.
